Travellios helps Service Takers find and connect with verified Service Providers who are traveling on the same route or to the same destination.
Open for Service
A Service Provider can choose to make their journey available by selecting “Open for Service” during the travel booking process. By selecting this option, the Service Provider confirms their availability and agrees to follow the Travellios Travel Journey terms.
How It Works
Step 1
Service Provider opens journey for service
While booking their travel, the Service Provider can select “Open for Service” if they are willing to support another traveler during their journey. By selecting “Open for Service”, the Service Provider:
- Agrees to provide the offered travel support.
- Accepts the Travellios Travel Journey terms.
- Agrees to follow Travellios safety guidelines and community rules.
The Service Provider does not need to accept or sign the contract again after a connection is made.
Step 2
Service Taker finds a buddy
A Service Taker who needs travel support can:
- Search available Service Providers.
- Find someone traveling on the same route or destination.
- Review Service Provider profiles, travel details, languages, ratings, and reviews.
- Select the Service Provider who matches their needs.
Step 3
Travel Journey Contract creation
When a Service Taker selects a Service Provider and the connection is created:
- A Travel Journey Contract is automatically generated through Travellios.
- The contract includes travel details, service details, fees, terms, and cancellation rules.
The Service Provider is already considered agreed to the Travel Journey Contract because they selected “Open for Service” before listing their journey.
Step 4
Service Taker reviews and signs
The Service Taker reviews the Travel Journey Contract before completing the booking. Since the Service Taker is requesting the service and making the payment:
- The Service Taker accepts and signs the Travel Journey Contract.
- The Service Taker completes the payment process.
Step 5
Travel with confidence
After confirmation:
- Both parties receive booking confirmation.
- Journey details are available in their Travellios dashboard.
- Communication features become available before 24hr of travel.
- Both members can prepare for a smooth journey.
